Announcement: Editor(s) for Club Newsletter Needed

Okay, for all you folks that want to have tennis club news delivered directly to you via email, on a regular basis, here’s your chance to ensure this happens. The board is looking for a new lead editor for the newsletter! Frank Foldes was kind enough to step up and relieve Anh Snell of this responsibility since last January. Frank will continue to lead the court/pavilion operations and be the election chairman for next season.

In a nutshell, the newsletter editor typically reports on upcoming events, club news, and Trilogy news of interest by monitoring the club calendar, Trilogy sources, and soliciting information from the various league captains and event leaders of the club. The club prez also throws in a comment or two to emphasize important club business.

As the old saying goes, “it takes a village” to make things happen. In our case, it takes the entire club. If you want the newsletter to continue during next season, please step forward and let any board member know that you will take on this responsibility. To lessen the load on any one individual, we would be more than pleased if two people teamed up to fill this role. Frank and/or Anh will be available to help you get started and can provide continued advice over time, as needed.
