As the new year begins, it is time for all members of the tennis club to take care of an important task: paying the 2026 tennis club dues. These dues help maintain the organize events and support the community that makes our club a great place to play and connect. If you haven’t already, please make sure to submit your payment by January 31st . The annual membership dues are $20 for players and $10 for social member , which provides participation at all Tennis Club events. W

Thanks to the efforts of Gary Huber, the ball sweeper has been repaired and placed with the ball machine on Court 2. Since the damage seems to have resulted from "forced" opening / closing the sweeper arms, I want to remind all users that the "black button" on each arm must be fully depressed before attempting to open or close either sweeper arm. Her daughter Shanna called me yesterday. Although most will not remember her, she and her husband, Lloyd, were avid members of the club and helped with most of the tournaments. On Saturday January 10th, 2026 Trilogy, Sunbird and Robson Ranch are teaming up with Cottonwood. For new club members who might not be aware of this format, the players from all four clubs will be mixed up and the idea is you may or may not know your partner. I will provide the Cottonwood tournament/social director with the ratings/levels of each person that signs up and how many matches you would like to play. Due to damage, the ball sweeper on Court 3 is out of service and will be unavailable indefinitely. New parts have been ordered. However, because of supply uncertainties, no time frame can be given for its return to service. A follow-up notice will be provided when the sweeper has been repaired and returned to Court 3. The schedule is now available. The heading says November instead of December 11th, that's just a mistake that Anh will fix later. It was not logistically possible to make two teams, without some people partnering up with the same people. I prefer to mix it up a little. So let's just have fun!
