Hello Tennis Club Members:
This year we have five (5) positions open on the Tennis Club Board. They are Vice President and Treasurer. The Officer positions are for two year terms. New in the process this year are three Director @ Large Positions that include 1) Information Technology (IT) position, 2) Tournament position, and 3) Membership position. Tournament and IT positions are 2 year terms each. Membership position will be a 1 year term as outlined at last weeks monthly meeting. The nomination and election process follow the Rules Governing Clubs defined in Bylaw Rule R-9.3g (Club Governance - Club Officer Elections - found in "mytpr" Lifestyle-Club website).
We, the election committee, are asking all of our members to let us know if you are interested in nominating a Tennis Club member
to fill these five Officer and Director @ Large positions. You can nominate yourself. Please ask a potential nominee if they would like to serve so they aren't surprised. You can email nominations to Bill Smiesko @ firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, February 16. The regular election ballot will then be sent out to the club for votes to be submitted back by Tuesday March 5. Election results will be announced at the Tennis Club general meeting on March 7, 2024.
